History

Since 1977, the Club has provided a welcoming and supportive place for figure skaters in Burnsville and the surrounding communities. The club hosts an annual 3-day competition for individual skaters (Autumn Skate Fest) which draws competitors from across the country and internationally, and an annual figure skating show (Impressions on Ice) that features individual and group performances for skaters of all ages and ability levels.

The Club operates sessions for both Junior- and Senior-Club level skaters, and maintains an affiliated synchronized skating team (Team Velocity).

The Club has a history of developing well-rounded and highly skilled skaters, including many US Figure Skating Gold Medalists, professional skaters, and even future National Champions.
