TESTING:

Test Sessions are held at the Burnsville Ice Center

251 Civic Center Parkway, Burnsville, MN

To register, click on the Test Date, below.

Payment is by credit card only, we are no longer accepting check payment.

Test Schedules will be distributed 2-5 days prior to the Test Session.

Each Test Session will Practice Ice available to purchase, refer to the published schedule for time and fee.

PRIOR to the Test Session, Print and Fill out this form: BMVFSC Permission to Test Out of Club
Send with payment to the BMVFSC Test Chair (address is on the form).
The BMVFSC Test Chair will provide Permission to Test once the form and payment are received.

For BMVFSC Skaters Requesting Test Credit

BMVFSC Skaters wishing to receive Test Credit using the IJS protocol from nonqualifying competition in juvenile-senior free skate, adult gold free skate, juvenile-senior pairs and juvenile-senior free dance: Test Credit Request Form

WHAT IS TESTING?

Testing is how a figure skater measures their progress through the United States Figure Skating Association. The USFSA test levels range in difficulty from Pre-Preliminary to Gold test. They are used nation and world wide as set standards for competition placement, competition judging, and as a general standard. Several times during the year USFSA tests are conducted at BMVFSC.

The tests include Skating Skills and Singles Skating. They are judged according to standards established by the USFSA. A complete description of each test can be found in the USFSA Rulebook. Check with your Pro for current directions when you are ready to test.
